The Tai Chi form and its health and wellbeing benefits come from Fang Song- to soften, loosen and relax the body. We start with giving our body permission to be soft, to let go and fully relax. We then create space in our joints as we soften all of the joints in our body, allowing the free flow of qi. Finally, we elongate the spine, the string of pearls to create a soft lengthening of our body from the bubbling well spring, up through our spine to the top of our head, the spirits rises.
