Today, July 14, 2024, over 30 of my students , some spouses, partners, and  daughters,  gathered on a beautiful piece of property to celebrate the life of my teacher, mentor and friend, Clifton Gore. There were flowers everywhere, food to share, music by our very own talented students and poems and a sharing of friendship and community. It was a befitting farewell to a person who was wholly dedicated to his family, his friends, his teachers and mostly his students. He lived a life full of passion and patience. His legacy lives on in my teaching and in my devoted students. Farewell, dear Clifton, a life well-lived. Peace and goodwill to all people, Linda
