There are four concepts in T’ai Chi that may be helpful as strategies to help us endure the long stay at home and social distancing needed to stay safe. These concepts are foundational principles of T’ai Chi but are used by long distance runners as well as others who must prevail in reaching difficult goals. The 4 P’s of endurance are Patience, Pacing, Process and Purpose.Being patient, pacing ourselves for the long run, outcome over process and keeping our focus on the purpose.
