Our last full moon on Halloween was 19 years ago. So, this is a treat this year. The Hunter’s Moon or Beaver Moon is a micro moon- it appears smaller in the sky because it is farther from the earth. It is also a Blue Moon- the second full moon in the month. The sun and moon are the yin yang of our celestial orbs. They power each other. This is the duality of life and a foundational principle of Tai Chi- complimentary opposites and the duality of each posture and movement.
The Full Moon provides for us a moment of awe that is essential to our overall health and wellbeing. Experiencing awe helps us to be more caring, generous, cooperative and feel connected to something greater than ourselves. May you find peace and calm in this time of uncertainty. Peace, Linda
