A History of our Special Event 2022-2023
With over 30 participants at the Firehouse and via ZOOM, World Tai Chi and Qigong Day 2022 came to a glorious and fun ending. We performed our 5 Breaths, Shibashi and portions of the 5 Treasures Qigong. We had a great mix of beginning, intermediate and advanced students who performed set 1 of the slow set. The highlight of our event was our demonstration of Single Knife by one of our advanced students Steve O, and our 18 form weapon fan by Steve, Carmella, Christine, Paulette, Marty, and Kathy performed to the traditional music, Daffodils. Quite impressive. Thank you to all of my students who could attend and thank you to those who invited family and friends. One World One Breath

One World….One Breath: A Global Healing Event
Promoting health and wellness worldwide through T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Qigong
World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is an international event that brings countries and people together on the same day to share these ancient mind-body practices together as a community.
For the second year, Linda Henderson is hosting an event in Bellingham to celebrate this international event. It is open to individuals who have all levels of experience in Tai Chi/Qigong. If you are curious about Tai Chi/Qigong but have never tried either one, Saturday April 25th is a great day to start. Join thousands of people around the world to celebrate the healing powers of T’ai Chi Ch’uan (Tai Chi.) and Qigong.
Come and learn the foundational principles of Tai Chi from balance, to weight shifting, breathing, stance, and posture. You need no experience. Linda will lead the group through a series of choreographed movements performed in slow motion to enhance the mind-body-spirit connection. For experienced Tai Chi students, performing the basic components of Tai Chi will enhance your confidence and increase your skill.
Come and have fun with others who share a common interest in the ancient healing and wellbeing art of T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Qigong. If you need more information, please contact Linda.
