The Harvest Moon

Should weather permit, look to the heavens for the most beautiful Fall Full Moon. The Harvest Moon will appear September 26, 2026. Other names include the Full Corn Moon, the Barley Moon and my favorite, the Singing Moon (celtic) The Harvest Moon was named because the light of the moon allows farmers to continue harvesting after dark.

Shine on, shine on harvest moon, up in the sky.
