Look toward the eastern sky August 27 - 28, 2026 to see the Lunar eclipse. It will be low in the sky so it may be obscured by trees and buildings. During peak eclipse, about 93% to 96% of the Moon's face will slip into Earth's dark umbral shadow, creating a strong coppery-red or rusty glow.
